A weekend with the TATUM'S

We had a wonderful visit with Lisa and Kyle this weekend. We FINALLY got to see their beautiful house!

Kyle and Lisa treated us to a truly gourmet dinner! They made sliders, with homemade chipolte sauce, homemade pickles, and homemade pickled onions! It was served with sweet potato fries! A delicious meal!

We spent the day at the Fort Worth Zoo on Saturday.
Arden LOVED the zoo.

Her favorite was one of the first exhibits... the fish!

Arden checking out Mr. Lizard

She wouldn't touch the snake, but watched daddy do it.
Good girl!

Monkey Exhibit

Arden did her monkey impression...

Then clapped for herself! Ha

I loved watching this mama and her baby

Arden enjoyed the train ride. She even learned how to say, "Chugga-Chugga-Choo-Choo"!

Ryan kept joking that I looked like I had WAY more fun than Arden. Possibly.

And...more animals

This is where the white tiger lives. Not too shabby.

After getting back home and putting Arden down for a nap, Kyle wanted to make hot pretzels from scratch. We each decided to give pretzel molding a try.
Lisa won the award for most perfect pretzel shape ever!!

We spent our last evening in Fort Worth chilling at Lisa's house drinking great wine that the brought back from Napa, eating Kyle's grilled Bratwurst, and watching, "The Help".

Thank you Lisa and Kyle for a wonderful trip. We can't wait to come back and visit!!
