Halloween

My sweet Little Red Ridding Hood.
I can't think of anything more beautiful!
I just love her.

Before we went Trick-or-Treating, we went to our neighbor's pre-trick-or-treat party. Look at these cute girls!

Arden really enjoyed trick-or-treating.
She wanted to walk on her own and would say, "trick or treat" as she walked up to the houses.

After 10 or so houses, Arden asked to go home. I know next year her tiny little stash will probably double and she will want to stay out a little longer.

Wreck em' Tech!

Ryan and I went to visit Lisa and Kyle in Ft. Worth to go to our annual Texas Tech game together.
Tech was playing TCU and it was such a fun weekend.

We left Arden with my mom and Chris and drove up on Friday.
Saturday before the game, we went to a pre-game party for some great food and spirits!!

Look at this cute lil Red Raider that we saw!

Then off to the game to cheer on our Red Raiders!

The entire Crew!

What a game it was.
We were sitting on the edge of our seats as we went into 3...yes 3 overtimes!!

After all the stress...we won!! Whew....

After the game, we watched the players rush the field then sang the Texas Tech fight song.

For most, getting back to your car isn't an issue. Well, it took us nearly 2 hours to get back to our car. After a few near death experiences...we made it :)

Thanks Lisa and Kyle for such a great weekend! It is always a blast when we get together with them.

A Weekend in New Orleans

Hello New Orleans! We were overdue for a trip to New Orleans to visit family and friends. Thank you for not forgetting about us.

Saturday morning, we took Arden to Story Land in City Park. Both my mom and I remember going as kids, so needless to say...it is pretty darn old. I was loving the old school charm!

She was trying so hard to reach or get a better look at Mother Goose! So funny.

After fun at Story Land, we had a picnic in City Park under some beautiful oak trees. Arden and Pop were exhausted!

After nap-time, we all went out back to play around on the golf course.

Come evening time, Ryan and I went out on a date to our favorite New Orleans spot...Jacques-Imos!

Alligator cheesecake for an appetizer! Ah-maz-ing!!

Sunday morning, my mom hosted brunch. We loved visiting with family before we had to head home.

Precious Kiddos!

Story Time with Uncle David

Such a fun visit!!
