Arden is 7 months!

Another month has come and gone and Arden has continued to brighten our day...everyday!

This month she has been really into her daddy. She says, "dada" at least a hundred times a day. She is always looking for him, smiling at him, and happiest when he is holding her (especially on his shoulders).

Arden's 6 month stats

  • Typically sleeps from 8:00 pm-6:00 am
  • Takes 2 one to two hour naps a day

Weekend Bliss...

Here is a recap of the last couple of weekends.

Last Saturday, Arden's grandma and great grandma came up to watch her while Ryan and I headed to Lake Conroe and cruised around on a couple of jet ski's that we rented. Afterwards, we picked up a few snowballs for the ride home.

Arden's Babysitter

Sunday, we headed down to Galveston for Ann's dads' (Arden's great-grandpa) 79th birthday party. We enjoyed a great lunch and celbrating a wonderful man!!

This Saturday night Ryan whipped up a little something for us....it was delish!!!

And Sunday down in League City we ate pretty good at our favorite pool resort...

 Pool Time

On Labor Day, we went over to Aunt Nancy's house to play in the pool and enjoy a great poolside steak dinner. Arden had so much fun being with Meredith. She really entertains her!

Sitting Pretty

Arden has finally decided that she wants to sit! She was excited about her new trick and we were too! She loved sitting out in the front yard looking around and watching her daddy fix his bike.

 Look...no hands

Back to School

Ryan, Arden, and I are all starting off a new school shedule this week.

Ryan is teaching Corportate Finance at Univeristy of Houston Wednesday nights this semester, Arden goes to Mother's Day Out for 4.5 hours Monday-Friday, and I'm teaching Touch System Data Entry for three periods. So far, we are handling this new schedule pretty good! Arden and I get home around 1:00 and have all afternoon to play!!

Arden really seems to like her teachers and new playmates, ages 6 months-1 year. Her classroom is called the Busy Bee's and her teachers tell me that she is happy, sweet, and not fussy. She smiles when I drop her off and doesn't seem to miss  me at all when I leave. Ha!

My classes are great so far and I love my new teaching arrangement! It is fun getting back in my classroom. I really do love what I do.

Here are some pictures of Arden's first day of school....
