Halloween Fun!

You cannot have a proper Halloween without treats. Here are some things I made for the Halloween party and trick-or-treaters

Mummy Dogs

Treats for the kiddos

Pumpkin Bread

Our friends hosted a Halloween party for kids. It took a little while for Arden to warm up. Ha!

My friend Amber made these yummy Frankenstein cakes. Too cute!

She clung to Ryan in the bounce house

Pumpkin Crafts

Darling Raggedy Ann-alee!

Arden had a Halloween Parade at school where she wore her costume. We also did a little Trick-or-treating in our neighborhood that evening.

She only got about 4 treats! Hehe. I guess that's not too bad for not having any teeth. Hopefully she will do better next year...

Her absolute favorite thing was riding in this buggie!

Hayride to the Pumpkin Patch

Arden was the cutest pumpkin

Our first John Deer ride...

We will definitely be back next year.

Celebrations X 3

We have had three big reasons to celebrate this week!

First:
More milestones for Arden

Arden in crawling! She is loving being able to get to all of her toys and cords that she had been eyeing for months now. We are doing some major baby proofing around the Frank casa.
and
Arden says, "Mama"! Although, she prefers to say "Dada".
and
Arden is waving and can say, "Hi".

Second:
Texas Tech beats OU!

Enough said.

Third:
Meem turned 75! Happy Birthday!

Arden is 8 months old!

Another month. Really?

Time is flying by, and this little girl can not wait to be going places. She is such a squirmy little thing. Gone are the days of holding her in my arms.

She is spending her days loving school, playing with me in the afternoon and then her daddy when he gets home, and keeping up with our busy schedule. Arden loves life and is smiling and giggling all day.

She has been battling some allergies this month, but it hasn't stopped her from having fun.

Arden's 8 month stats:
Weight: 16 lbs. 6oz.
Length: 26.5"
Typically sleeps from 8:00 pm-6:00 am
Takes two naps
Drinks four 8oz. bottles along with level 2 baby food

Arden's Firsts:

  • Rocking back and forth on all fours (not quite crawling)
  • Finger foods!
  • Going from crawling to sitting position
  • Reaching for dropped toys and moving toys from one hand to the next
  • Bouncing when she hears music

Arden's Favorites

  • Sophie
  • Being tickled
  • Teethers and rattles
  • Dance Party
  • The mirror
  • Playing with rubber ducky while bathing
  • Funny noises
  • TJ
  • Cat in the Hat and Baby Einstein
  • Being lifted in the air
  • Singing (la-la tunes are her favorite)
  • Her dad

Peace...bye!

Happy Birthday Kim!

Last weekend we headed to New Orleans for my sweet cousin Kim's Surprise 30th Birthday party! Aunt Pam really knows how to throw a fun party (and spoil Arden rotten). We had a great time with family! Here is the proof of the fun that we had...

We were also able to sneak in a couple hours at the food court to meet up with more family...

We love our family in Louisiana!
