Independence Day!

Fourth of July fell on a Wednesday, so it didn't quite feel like a holiday. Nonetheless, it was a fun day.

We began the day at our neighborhood parade. Arden enjoyed watching all the action.

After nap time, we headed to The Woodlands where we had a nice dinner at Macaroni Grill. I've started giving Arden a sucker to keep her quiet when we go out to eat. Ha!

Then, we enjoyed all the festivities at The Woodlands, "Red, Hot, and Blue Festival"

Arden wanted a balloon so bad, so Ryan hunted one down at a booth. She was thrilled!

Then, she got a flower balloon to add to her collection!

She was more interested in the balloon that the man accidentally popped. She didn't want to let it go. Ha!

It was so hard to contain her.
All she wanted to do was RUN, RUN, RUN!

She even got to meet, "Guss" the horse and loved petting him!

Then home to enjoy a little 4th of July treat. We didn't make it see the fire works this year, but we sure did hear them.
